1. Asset Creation Requirements

  • Originality: All assets must be original creations. Do not submit assets that are copied or imitations of other artworks.

  • Game-Ready: Assets should be designed and optimized for use in real-time applications, such as games and simulations.

  • File Formats: Submit assets in .blend or .fbx format, along with a folder containing texture maps. These texture maps should be in 4096x4096 (4K) resolution.

2. Asset Naming

  • Choose a clear and descriptive name for your asset that reflects its content and purpose. This makes it easier for users to search for and identify your creation.

  • For ex.: Folder "Wooden Barrel Damaged" --> File "Wooden Barrel Damaged.Fbx"

3. Attribution and Social Information

  • Include your name as the creator of the asset, along with your preferred author name for attribution.

  • Optionally, provide your email address and social media profiles (such as ArtStation or Twitter) to give users a way to connect with you or follow your work.

4. File Structure

  • Ensure that your submission includes a well-organized file structure. The zip file should contain the asset file (.blend or .fbx) and a texture folder that contains all textures used for the asset. Keep the structure clear and logical.

5. Texture Maps

  • All texture maps must be of high quality (minimum 4k) and appropriate for the asset. Use consistent naming conventions for texture maps, making it easy to understand which map corresponds to which part of the asset.

  • For example: 4K_Wooden_Box_AO.tif, 4K_Wooden_Box_BaseColor.tif, etc.

6. Showcase Renders

  • It's helpful to include a set of render images showcasing your asset from various angles and perspectives. These renders help users understand the asset's visual qualities and potential applications.
